I had a nagging issue: there was no convenient spot to stash a trash can near my printer, so the small scraps of slag - skirts, brims, failed prints - were piling up on my desktop and spilling onto the floor. So I took matters into my own hands and designed a compact trash bag holder that hung off the side of my desk, right where it was needed most. Then I encountered another problem: some of the delicate strands of filament would cling to my skin or refuse to fall into the bag, and they'd get yanked back onto the print bed. So I devised a clever "comb" that could snag the slag with ease. And then it hit me - the comb resembled teeth, complete with menacing fangs. So I saw no choice but to add some wicked eyes and eyebrows to give it an even more sinister look. Sometimes you just have to see a project through to its completion.
