Yet fate, that cruel mistress, led him to cross paths with a mortal woman whose beauty ensnared his undead heart. Against all odds, they became entwined in a forbidden love, and she, with her gentle words and boundless compassion, managed to coax forth the dormant flicker of humanity within him.
