Ring Remover Tool is a vital piece of equipment found on every ship, designed to remove rings from piston heads in diesel engines. This tool is considered special because it's rarely seen on board vessels. It can only be used on certain types of diesel engines and is crafted specifically for the piston part, making it not suitable for worldwide use. This tool typically comes with four main components: a handle, pusher, stand, and base stand. These parts are attached to each other using three different bolts and nuts. The engineer responsible for this type of engine usually creates these tools. The objective of our project is to design and innovate the original ring remover tool using SolidWorks application. We aim to convert the existing tool into a 3D printing project by utilizing 3D printer technology. Our goal is also to apply our learning in computer-aided design (CAD) to real-world applications. Our concept for this project focuses on tools commonly used in everyday life, with an emphasis on special tools rarely found on ships. We've incorporated the idea of mixing and matching colors into the design, assigning different hues to each part to make it visually appealing and interesting.
