Valve Index Rear Cable Clamp Heavy Duty

WARNING: THIS WILL NOT BREAK ANYMORE: BUT YOUR CABLE PROBABLY WILL!!!! +++++ The breaking away original clamp is, intentional or not, some kind of emergency release. I would suggest to tape something sturdy but flexible to the cable where it bends over the rim of this replacement clamp. I took a piece of a water-cooling tube. If you can print TPU, then there is a flexible Index cable protector at Thingiverse. +++++ An easy-to-print well-rounded rear cable clamp replacement with a tunnel for a strong cable tie. This is a remake of my old Thingiverse project that I made after breaking my rear cable clamp on my well used and beloved Valve Index: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4424259 Unfortunately that cable clamp, even while being more stable then the original one, is still very prone to accidents. After breaking that replacement again and again for more than four times, I decided to create a "heavy duty" version for people being obviously clumsy like me. If you need a replacement cabel clamp for the FRONT, please have a look at my other designs https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4966489 This one is not made for clipping it to the HMD like the original one, because that clips were the weak point. Instead of this it uses the slit for the clips for a cable tie to fasten the clamp somewhat fool-proved to the headset. Don't use a cable tie without something like my clamp, because this will destroy the somewhat fragile cable (been there, done that)! For this easy print without supports, you can use a cable tie up to 5mm wide and 2mm thick. Attention: The wide side of the clamp has to point to the PC, the blunt side to the headset (as viewed from the cable perspective). If you print out the version with text, the "V" has to be up. To fasten it, just put the cable tie from the bottom up through the slit in the headset where the old clamp was located, then bend it and put it through the tunnel in the clamp. Fasten the tie as tight as possible. Oh... and don't forget to put the cable through the clamp before fastening! ;-) Definitely not as nice as the original one, I confess, but hopfully much stronger. For this version I made the wide side of the clamp even more soft and rounded. There is one Version with text ("Valve Index") and one without.
