Valve Index Prescription Lens Adapter
thingiverse
Upgraded from a HTC Vive to a Valve index, and wasn't able to use the original item ([3753906](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3753906)) because the listed frame wasn't compatible with my prescription. Already had lenses from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2920352 So wanted to re-use them and I remixed this design for the Valve Index with a prescription holder for my 43mm Zenni lenses, which are smaller than the original lens design, but still large enough to give a complete field of view without obstruction: https://www.zennioptical.com/p/metal-alloy-full-rim-frame-with-spring-hinges/5500?skuId=550021 This fits well and it's just snug enough to hold the lenses but still allow fairly easy rotation so you can line up the axis properly for astigmatism correction. Using this item, you can order prescription lenses from zenni for about $30-40 shipped (within a few weeks) and just pop the lenses out and use them here. Much nicer than trying to fit glasses inside your HMD - you can just enjoy the experience!
