Here is the rewritten text: Created a custom lens cap by remaking a lens protector and sealing one end, thereby safeguarding the lenses from dust and light when not in use. Printed in TPU to ensure scratch resistance on the lens holders and create a secure friction fit. Note that your printer's tolerances may differ; simply print two for both eyes. As shown, I initially printed three layers of black PLA before switching manually to TPU alone due to lack of availability of black TPU. This allowed me to block light effectively and potentially provide enhanced impact resistance, although I do not plan on subjecting the lenses to impact. By printing in this manner, I also avoided prepping my bed for TPU, which is not necessary. If black TPU were available, I would have opted for a pure TPU print.
