Valve Index Ghetto GunStock (strong, cheap, quick to print)
thingiverse
Designed this Valve Index Gunstock because all the other pedal like controller parts on Thingiverse were too flimsy and brittle to be used by me (at least in PLA). Plus I was too lazy to print out the entire stock length on my 20x20x20 printer. So I designed this for a 60-70cm long, 28,4mm diameter wooden Staff, commonly found in the Drapes and Curtains section of any halfway decent Hardware store. Add about 6x M4x30 Screws with M4 Nuts and this set should stay pretty firm in Position. Once mounted on the staff, cut out some aluminum foil in the size of the Curved Pedal like grip Panels. DIY Instructions: Carefully heat the pedal like structures with a heatgun set to 1. Once the PLA becomes formable, put the Aluminumfoil on it and now carefully place your Valve Index Knuckles controller in the Position you want, hold it for a few seconds or blast the hot piece of plastic with some air from a Compressor. Voila! you now have a sturdy and solid adapted pedal for your Knuckles controllers to rest in. It could even be formed into your most comfortable holding Position. Incase your Knuckles controller dont register any grips anymore, try to space the beams of the pedal further apart, you controllers should registers a grip again. Disclaimer: I am not responsible for you or your stupidity, if you burn yourself or your knuckles controllers you better get your genes out of this pool.
