Valve Index Frunk Mount for HTC Vive Facial Tracker (v1)
thingiverse
A friction / frunk-vent mount for HTC's Vive Facial Tracker. # Printing Should be straightforward; I used supports for mine so that the "vent hooks" would print with more detail. I printed at 0.15mm resolution with a random PLA. The tolerances here aren't super critical! # Mounting & Connecting You will be able to reuse the mounting screw that was included with the official Vive Pro mount. It should fit "snugly" without needing any extra fastening. Just push the print into the Index's Frunk to secure it! You will not need any tape. To actually _connect_ the facial tracker, you will need a **`USB Type-C Female to USB Type-A Male`** adaptor. # Note This mount will not hold up well to fast motion, and will likely fall off if you look down. The weight distribution is not ideal for this kind of mount. I intend to make a revision to this thing to secure it better for active use.
