Valve Index frunk fan mount

I stumbled upon a Reddit thread where individuals were experimenting with mounting fans on their Index consoles, but instead of placing them centrally, they opted for a more unique approach - positioning the fans on the sides near the vents. Inspired by this idea, I decided to create my own mod. The fans are designed to be fully exposed, allowing users to choose between two different sizes: 40x40x10 or 40x40x20. However, I initially released V1 without any provision for cable management - no holes for the cable to pass through or tie it down. As a result, my own installation ended up with an overly long cable. Fortunately, users can easily modify this issue by shortening the cable and hiding it inside the frunk with some basic soldering skills. I employed magnets to secure the fan mount, just like the original design, but I'm aware that it might be too heavy for some setups. To confirm, I still need to test it under intense gaming conditions to ensure it stays put.
