I use a screw-on valve stem extender on my 2013 Honda Fit to access the tire pressure gauge, but first I have to remove the hub cap. Using long nosed pliers for this task is slow and frustrating. This simple wrench has an internal taper that engages with the valve cap, allowing you to easily remove, install or tighten it. When loosening the valve cap all the way to remove it, the wrench keeps it inside so it doesn't fall down into the hub cap. To put the valve cap back on, simply get the threads started with the wrench, then tighten it down and pull off the wrench without getting your hands dirty.
