Valve butterfly handle amplifier
prusaprinters

Sometimes you have to shut off water, for maintenance or repair.

Shut off valves are very often hard to reach and I find 'butterfly' handles even harder to manipulate. They tend to be a bit jammed and you have very little space for your fingers to work your way.

A tool to leverage those handles was one of my first 3D design in 2017. It worked well but I was inspired to make a better version when I saw Jarounet's design (here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5262959)

This is my version. It is a bit less elaborate but does not require any assembly or gluing. And no supports.

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Prusa

Printer:

I3 MK3S

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

0.3 (draft)

Infill:

30%

Filament: Whatever PLA

Notes:

I chose 30% infill for it to be sturdy and it is way enough.

Category: Household
