Vallejo Paint Shaker/Mixer for Drill

I truly appreciate the mixer by schleprocker. However, I wanted to enhance its design for safety reasons. My main concern was plastic on plastic friction - it just didn't sit well with me. My redesign incorporates a standard 608 bearing, guaranteeing smooth rotation without introducing any unnecessary friction or heat. This design ensures that paint is mixed without any air bubbles getting in the way. - The "crank" features a 10mm drill shank. I've created two versions: one with a normal rounded end and another with flat sides. ***The version with flat sides is specifically designed for those drills with unusual shanks, where the inside faces are completely flat. This ensures more surface contact area when tightening. - The paint adapter accepts a 608 bearing at the bottom. The bearing has a 0.2mm clearance, and depending on your machine's tolerances, it might be a tight fit (That's exactly what you want - the bearing shouldn't fall due to gravity). - Paint adapter 17 is designed for 17ml Vallejo bottles (26mm internal Dia). - Paint adapter 60 is designed for 60ml Vallejo bottles (36mm internal Dia) - it will also fit Apple Barrel bottles. Use: - Attach the crank to your drill tightly enough not to damage it. - The bearing should already be pressed into the adapter. - Place the adapter into the crank. - Put the bottle into the adapter. - Hold the bottle and adapter with one hand (It won't spin). - Turn on the drill.
