Valkyrie Reckon model
pinshape
Valkyrie is designed to be an extremely mobile makertron, capable of flying thanks to rockets and propellers mounted on its legs, as well as gliding silently when needed. Its lightweight yet substantial armor and sturdy actuators in its limbs and head enable it to defend itself if necessary while scouting. The design of its arms allows for flexibility when dealing with unexpected situations on the field or supporting other makertrons, although they may not offer the finesse a technician makertron can provide, they are more than sufficient for field work. Its arms also feature a slot on the shoulder to mount specialized equipment if needed, as well as the legs that allow the replacement of wings for other systems if required. The head boasts advanced optic systems and image processing capabilities, as well as sensors for searching necessary resources for reconstructing other makertrons. The model comes with a base featuring pins that go into the legs, allowing it to stand upright. Images of different views of the robots are available, as well as details of the various parts: renders images. This model is designed to be relatively easy to print, featuring solid pieces and slopes whenever possible. Pieces are separated for 3D printing, but must be oriented properly. A link to a tutorial on creating internal structures for 3D printing is provided to help save material: hollow structure tutorial. Print with supports when necessary and glue pieces together for permanent assembly. The model was created using Blender 3D's poly modeling and displacement modifiers for engravings and details, without sculpting involved. Then, the model was made solid using Meshmixer and Meshlab decimation tools to obtain the final 3D print model. Edit: Added torso and hip pins for easier assembly instead of searching through links. A link to a tutorial on creating quick internal structures on Meshmixer for 3D printing without remeshing has been added, keeping file size small.
