Valify V2 Robot Lawnmower
grabcad
Having initially printed parts for Valify, I realized that the design needed a unique and futuristic look. Consequently, I returned to the drawing board and created Valify V2, which separates chassis and body. Additionally, some components are yet to be finalized, such as the solar panel holder, front spoiler, and user-specific parts like wheels and motor mounts. Desired features include no perimeter wire, diverse driving styles, 3D mapping, precise robot location tracking, automatic blade raising, and color recognition using a camera. Hardware specifications for this build include the Jetson TX2 Development Kit, Scanse Sweep, Intel RealSense Camera ZR300, 2x DC Planetary Geared Motors, Li-Po Battery, 9DoF RoboClaw, and Reach RTK GNSS modules. Mower motors are yet to be decided. Currently, I am working on the nose, solar panel holder, and minor modifications to parts for support minimization. Parts have been updated daily, with the first robot part printed on 2018-03-01. This project is a work-in-progress, and users are welcome to download and provide feedback.
