Valentine Tealight marks a groundbreaking concept in printing technology. A thin, flexible sheet is rolled into a cylinder and secured by a groove on both the base and lid. This innovative technique paves the way for more intricate details on the sides since it eliminates the need for supports during printing. Moreover, the sheet can be printed at an incredibly thin thickness, far surpassing what would be possible with traditional upright printing. I've successfully experimented with PETG, but I'm unsure if this method will work with PLA. If so, it might depend on how thinly the sheet is printed. To achieve optimal results, I recommend printing the sheet first and measuring its actual thickness. My initial print yielded an unexpected 0.85mm thickness, prompting me to adjust the groove value to 1.00mm. You may need to fine-tune this setting based on your printer's specifications. Keep in mind that diagonal printing might be necessary for certain printers. Don't hesitate to push the boundaries of this technique with your own designs. I'm excited to share more updates and innovations in the future!
