Jeff Aronowitz generously donated the Valentine Meat Juice Bottle to the Virtual Curation Laboratory for detailed 3D scanning using the NextEngine Desktop 3D scanner. The original bottle was a brown translucent glass item, which posed significant challenges for laser scanning due to its transparency. To overcome this hurdle, we carefully applied a coat of white watercolor paint that could be easily removed after scanning.
