Valence Clip for Wooden Blinds
thingiverse
We possess wooden blinds on every window in our house and over time, clips that hold valence boards broke, causing an insufficient number for hanging all boards. This replacement clip is designed specifically for them. Due to their small size (28mm tall) and transparency, coloring one side with a blue Sharpie aided in creating a profile. Tracing and extruding the profile led to the final design. ABS was chosen over PLA due to concerns regarding brittleness. These clips require 100% infill for their thin load-bearing structure, but printing on rafts is recommended to prevent breakage during the process. Performance has been excellent.
