I have some wood blinds that come equipped with valences supported by flimsy plastic clips. Eventually, one of the clips gave way under stress which resulted in all the other clips snapping loose as the valence came down. The potential clip you see here may not be perfectly suited for your blinds but it can certainly serve as a starting point to create a custom solution. The attachment point on the back of the wood valance is exactly one inch wide. Refer to the attached photos to gain a clearer understanding of what I am talking about. If anyone needs to make adjustments, I'll be providing the Sketchup file that includes my design details.
