Replacement Clip for Broken Valence Clips on Venetian Blind I had to create a replacement clip when the original one broke off, so I relied on memory and images from Google to estimate the final shape. The prototype was printed in yellow filament, but the final versions used clear PLA. Print Settings Printer: Prusa i3 MK2 Rafts: No Rafts Were Used Supports: None Were Needed Resolution: 0.2mm How I Designed This Replacement Clip I captured the remaining piece of the original clip with a flat-bed scanner, using a black Sharpie marker to make one edge stand out. The image was imported into Inkscape and the Trace Bitmap Path function was used to create an outline. I edited the path in Inkscape to refine it and add details that I assumed were missing from the original clip. This final path was exported as an SVG, then imported into 123D Design where it was extruded into its final shape.
