Valence Clip

Valence Clip

In my kitchen, I had wooden valences on plantation shutters held by cheap plastic clips that frequently broke off. For three years, these clips were stacked in my dining room's corner as replacements couldn't be found at local hardware stores or online. Luckily, I had a Reprap 3D printer, which allowed me to create custom clip replacements using OpenSCAD software after converting a photo into DXF format with Inkscape and high-contrast image in Photoshop. My wife was delighted when these new clips were installed on the valences. The strongest option for replacement is the valenceclip4-8mm.stl, which can also be customized by width using OpenSCAD script.
