Valance Clip for Thick Plastic Blinds

Valance Clip for Thick Plastic Blinds

I have two sets of window blinds that each use two of these valance clips. All 3 out of 4 broke after a few years. How I made it: 1. I used a sharpie to paint one edge of the intact clip black to make the profile stand out and took a photo of it. 2. I imported that photo into [Inkscape](https://inkscape.org/) and traced the black profile and saved it as an SVG. 3. I imported the SVG into [Tinkercad](https://www.tinkercad.com/) and resized it to match the dimensions of the original clip (which I measured using some cheapo $12 digital calipers that I bought from Jeff Bezos; I'm sure a ruler would do just fine). 4. Exported to STL, sliced with Cura. They're a bit too tight, so you could probably lengthen them a bit vertically, but I was able to muscle them in. This is probably due to PLA being a lot more rigid than the plastic used in the original clips.
