I bought a couple of blank LED cross PCBs at a Hamfest two years ago with plans to install them in my truck as assisted brake lights, but being unmotivated... that never came to fruition. Fast-forwarding to 2017 and I now have a new 3D printer... aka a brand-new toy. What a perfect time to tackle these crosses. The cross design allows the PCB to nest inside it and a thin backplate snaps down on top of it. When powered up, the LEDs shine brightly through the thin front layer.
