An opener / key to open a Vaisala RS41 radiosonde.This key has 4 sides, each of which has a specific function:The wide key with 2 sharp prongs opens the wide clip at the top of the radiosonde. Push hard and wiggle until the key hits a stop.The wide key with 2 blunt prongs opens the same wide clip at the top, and is used to push the clip further downwards after opening with the sharp prongs.The small key with the 2 sharp prongs opens the small clip at the bottom of the radiosonde (below the text and LED). One push and it clicks loose.The lever is used to pry out the batteries once the radiosonde is open. It fits in the space between each battery and the holder, where the copper contacts are.This opener works with RS41-SG and RS41-SGP radiosondes.
