Vageeswari Tripod Adapter
thingiverse
This adapts the tripod mount on older Vageeswari cameras to a standard 1/4-20 threaded mount. There are two versions of the base plate, plate and plate_flat. The flat version is, well, flat, while the other version has a 2mm depression down the middle intended to fit an arca swiss plate. All four holes in the base plate should be fitted with 1/4-20 threaded heat-set inserts, 6mm long. You'll want to print three of the lug covers (lug.stl), upside down using supports to keep the counterbored section for the bolt heads relatively clean. Once everything is printed and inserts installed, put the base plate on the inside of the camera with the protrusions pointing downwards. It should go through the big hole in the bottom, with the outer protrusions poking into the mounting lugs and the square cutout providing space for the rotation locking thumbscrew. You should be able to put the lug covers over the lugs and screw them into place with a 1/4-20x1/2 inch hex head bolt and a washer. The lug covers should leave just enough space around the bolt holes to fit in a socket wrench. Get them snug, but don't overtighten as you don't want to pull the threaded inserts loose.
