This project draws inspiration from [Simone Giertz](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC3KEoMzNz8eYnwBC34RaKCQ) and [Laura Kampf](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCRix1GJvSBNDpEFY561eSzw):\r\n[![https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9reSQXZy77U](http://i3.ytimg.com/vi/9reSQXZy77U/hqdefault.jpg)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9reSQXy77U)\r\nIt's a tampon case/dispenser modeled after the iconic Austrian candy dispenser (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pez). \r\nThis version fits up to 5 super O.B. (16x53mm) tampons. You can create different sizes by scaling, but be aware that varying wall thickness may cause problems during slicing. This model has 1mm walls and should be sliced with a 0.5mm print width (~0.4mm nozzle). I found using random start points for each layer helpful in minimizing buildup artifacts at the start/stop points. \r\n\r\nThe springs are printed in ABS and heat-treated for 1h at 100°C to achieve optimal form stability. If you discover a better material, please share it as a comment! PLA will lose its springiness over time due to deformation. \r\nThe head is designed with 3 walls and no infill.\r\n\r\nFor fun (and because I ran out of simple PLA), the body is made from thermo sensitive (color changing) PLA and the head from glow in the dark PLA. \r\n\r\nIf you're interested, I can adjust the design to create different sizes using CAD.
