This is a specialized VW/Audi coil pack removal tool designed to fit snugly into the grooves at the top of each pack. Some valve covers may pose clearance problems, but it appears to function smoothly with the MkV BPY engine's packs. The same pack design is used in many other VW/Audi vehicles.
