Here's the deal, folks - when it comes to 3mm LED installations in those sweet pilot indicator lights used on Darth Vader belt boxes, we need to get a little creative. First off, take that LED and file off the top of it - you want to widen up that light angle so everything looks uniform and balanced. If not, you'll end up with some serious hotspots right in the center of your indicator light, and trust me, nobody wants that. So, get out there and give those LEDs a little TLC - they're counting on us to make 'em shine like the Death Star at high noon!
