Vacuume powered turbine for 608 bearings with 1" hose adapter
thingiverse
Added threading to the outside of the bottom housing to attach an adapter for a 1-inch vacuum hose. Simply press-fit two 608 bearings into each housing piece, use spacers between the bearings and rotors, and employ an 8mm rod as an axle. Update 1: Added spacers to keep the rotors at the right distance away from the bearings and stator. Update 2: Modified the rotor to a rotor spacer, making it slightly smaller to avoid compressing the bearings. Update 3: Updated the "1-inch vacuum adapter" by reducing plastic usage, lengthening, and widening the vacuum attachment pipe approximately 4mm, tapering down to 1mm wider than 1 inch for a snug fit. The previous version's inner diameter was too small to accommodate a 1-inch vacuum hose, as it turned out that 1 inch referred to the inner diameter of the hose, not the outer. Update 4: Integrated a handle that attaches between the front housing and the vacuum adapter using M3 socket cap screws and M3 square nuts. Update 5: Added 50mm brush segments and a shroud designed to fit a 4-inch PVC pipe with one inch cut off from the bottom, as well as a 1-inch PVC pipe, which splits suction between both ends of the shroud. The end shroud features a fitting that holds a third bearing for stability.
