Vacuum Sucker for Drilling - 30-35 mm Smooth Barrel
thingiverse
I took a close look at Petclaud's design and decided to create my own version with some deliberate modifications. The changes I made include: + Adding more space between the drill and vacuum tube, which now measures approximately 42 mm + Making it easier to print with supports optional + Ensuring that supports can accommodate smooth vacuum tubes of at least 30-35 mm in diameter + Improving suction and protecting the wall with an optional sealing feature + Smoothing out the edges for a cleaner finish However, my design also comes with some trade-offs: - It's larger than Petclaud's original design - It's heavier due to additional material - The print time is longer - More material is used overall The angle between the wall and vacuum tube remains at 45°, and I've kept the hole for the drill bit at a diameter of 20 mm. I designed this modification using Autodesk Inventor Professional 2019.
