Vacuum Straw Thingy
thingiverse
I've been seeing commercials for those vacuum attachments that can pick up dust from deep within a cup full of screws without sucking up the screws themselves. Initially, I considered buying one, but it's essentially just a vacuum attachment with some straws attached to it. So, I created this DIY attachment (it fits both my Dyson upright and handheld Eureka vacuum hoses) by inserting some stirrer straws into one end of the hose. To ensure they were secure without being crushed, I carefully selected enough straws to create a friction fit. After testing it out, I was pleased with how well it worked. However, during actual use, I realized just how little I really needed this attachment in the first place.
