I manage to print original into 82g of plastic. So far: * Made housing bit slimmer to save plastic * Created semi-parametric OpenSCAD file allowing to create own vacuum hose adapter, and it fuses it with current adapter automatically. Example STL output provided fits Polish "Zelmer" line of vacuum cleaners (31 to 32mm approx) * Hacked turbine for extra power (not really verified if it gives out any extra but it was easy) * Added parametric axle grinder disc hub+ example to use with 2mm 22mm ID cheap cutting discs. BE CAREFUL! This little devil really manages to spin disks above their working speed + you have no shields of any type! I repeat - USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. TODO: * OpenSCAD/parametric version * Ruckteil is too long and it's end diameter could be reduced to save plastic. * Version of ruckteil allowing connecting vacuum directly * Remake threads as current ones are difficult to print * Invent some clever way to protect front bearing - currently vacuum sucks all the lubricant out of it and puts dust there instead. Ideas for solving that - turbine bladed flanges to reverse the pressure from suck to blow in this area, small external reservoir to store grease. There are also high speed simulations which could help but they would require introducing flat shaft and this alone increases cost a lot. * Redesign of shaft bearing system - instead of central bearing three satellite bearings could be used. This way just outer rim of bearings touching the rod would remain unshielded from dusty air.
