Vacuum Port Sleeve

Vacuum Port Sleeve

I've built a dust cabinet for my CNC Engraver (Woodpecker 3018) with a focus on minimizing dust particles both within the cabinet and throughout my workshop. To achieve this goal, I installed a vacuum port at the rear of the cabinet. The vacuum port is constructed from two plumbing pipes: a 40 mm slab adapter and a 45 mm pipe that has been cut off, combined using PVC glue with a 44 mm PVC pipe. This assembly ensures a snug fit for the vacuum cleaner pipe, which has an outer diameter of 35 mm. To accommodate this, I fabricated a sleeve with an outer diameter of 38 mm and an inner diameter of 35 mm, allowing the vacuum pipe to sit securely within the PVC pipe. A 2 mm slot is incorporated into the sleeve, providing flexibility for potential future use on other tools, such as my mitre saw's vacuum port.
