Vacuum LocLine 2-1/2" Coupling for Dust Collection

I was looking for a flexible dust collection solution that could be adjusted to fit my drill press. I came up with a system using a 2-1/2" Loc-Line component, mounted to the drill press with a 14" long piece of 2x4 lumber. The two join together through a custom-made coupling, which was printed in 3D. The coupling fits snugly into the Loc-Line, so I recommend heating it up with a hot air gun for 15-20 seconds to make it easier to insert. Inside the coupling is a tapered section that allows the shopvac hose to fit securely, but can also be easily removed if needed. For reference, my shopvac is a Ridgid 4-gallon model and its hose has an outside diameter of around 44-46mm (1.75"). To make your own clamp, drill two 2-1/2" holes about 10" apart in a piece of 2x4 lumber using a hole saw. Cut the lumber in half length-wise and use two bolts to secure it into a clamp. This will allow you to rotate the Loc-Line around the drill press as needed.
