Vacuum Impeller Housing
thingiverse
I needed to tidy up my workspace after all the chaos that accumulates. Instead of shelling out $30 for a small shop vac, I thought it could be an intriguing challenge to see how durable a print I could produce while testing out how precise I could print threads generated in Fusion 360. I headed to a local Goodwill and picked up a corded dust buster for $3, a sealable ammo can from Harbor Freight, and a few other components. In total, it cost around $10. I used leftover filament, which is why the assembly has three different colors. Overall, it performs significantly better than the original vacuum, but if I were to start over, I might opt for a more powerful impeller motor.
