Vacuum hose grip for Porter Cable 7335 RO sander

This is a support for the vacuum hose that attaches to the Porter Cable Random Orbit sander for dust collection. The weight of the hose and dragging the hose around over the edges of a cabinet or the workbench has a tendency to cause the guard to shift, twist and generally become misaligned. My sander is a 7335 (5") it would also work with a 7336 (6"). Some of the newer models may need some changes. This support slips over the end of the sander and then the vacuum hose fits through the second ring. The second ring is sized for the 50mm diameter hose end for my Fein vacuum. If your fingers are chunky (like mine), you may want to move the rings an additional 3-5 mm apart as I did in the V2 version posted. This is the companion piece to the hose adapter that I posted previously I wish I had made these years ago as it so much more comfortable and convenient when doing cabinet work.
