Adapter was specifically made for the Dustopper Cyclonic Dust Separator which accepts a 2.5 inch vacuum hose. The problem is my Ridgid 4 gallon 5HP shop vacuum uses a 1.875 (1 7/8) inch hose. Vacuum model is WD4070 to be specific. Hopefully this helps anyone that ran into this problem as there seems to be no standard with vacuum hose sizes and readily available adapters.
