A universal connector designed to pair shopvac hoses of varying diameters is being developed. In my case, I required a joint between two hoses with identical dimensions, yet I built the model to accommodate hoses of different sizes for added versatility. Set the outer diameter for each hose, and input a clearance amount in millimeters. The adapter will then taper from the specified clearance down to the OD to create a snug compression fit.
