Vacuum handheld
prusaprinters

This is a small handheld vacuum that works off of the venturi principal with my compressor air as the source. It just takes an old sock as the bag secured with a string or rubber band.

All the parts print upright with support only needed on the main vacuum part from the bed only. Don't print the vacuum part with support on the inside of the hole are you will have problems probably clearing it out.

The hole needs to be opened up a little on the inside. A drill about .075 inches is a good place to start and open it up a little more if suction is too low. You could use the tip of a soldering iron if you used it as it slowly heated up so you could control the size better.

Carefull, I blew a bunch of filings in my face when I turned it on without the bag. It will fit 1/2 inch pvc if you don't want to print the tip.

Enjoy my little Sock Sucker.

Cheers

Kisssys
Category: Hand Tools
