Vacuum Former from scratch

OK, My son and I are building a vacuum forming system from scratch. I'm really enthusiastic about it and want to share our progress as we go along. Once we have completed the final plans and files, including a list of dos and don'ts, we will post them online, along with some super cool armor and injection molds for weapons we're planning. We've been experimenting with different designs. One idea involved placing the vacuum inside the cavity of the former. We started with the original Switch Housing but decided to move the vacuum outside (This way we can upgrade easily) so I created the Ext Switch Housing 2 file. We also designed some simple feet, but since our former is four feet long, we may add a secondary foot design in the middle to keep it level. The main cavity of the former still has wet glue on it and the first set of feet are currently printing as I type this. I'll be sharing more pictures soon along with maybe some super cool armor or other creations. I'd love to hear from anyone who's done something similar in the past, so we can learn from their experiences and get it right the first time.
