# **Description** This item makes it possible to connect a **common garden tube** (not the normal 32 or 38 mm pool tubes) to the vacuum plate to be placed inside the skimmer. The garden hose (max outer diameter 18 mm) is inserted into the connector, while the other side is simply inserted into the inlet of the vacuum plate. The 'suction' effect will hold the connector and the plate firmly in place during the vacuuming phase. --- ## **Some considerations on measures** - The maximum outer diameter of the tube can be 18 mm. - The maximum inside diameter of the vacuum plate inlet can be 26 mm (usually corresponding to an external diameter of 32 mm). --- ***NOTE:** See an example of a skimmer vacuum plate below.*
