After a long battle with my vacuum cleaners' hoses, I decided to create something that keeps them in their place. I ended up winding the hoses into small circles, but they kept unwinding themselves on their own. And here it is, the revolutionary vacuum cleaner hose fix! Simply wind up the hose, clip the device in place, and no more problems will arise. I hope there are people out there whose troubles will be solved by this game-changing gadget :). There are three versions: DualHoseFix - Keeps two hose-loops in their proper positions. TriHoseFix (Codename "Biohazard") - For longer hoses with three loops. QuadHoseFix (Codename "Drone") - For ridiculously long hoses, or keeping multiple hoses together, or playing ninja. It works perfectly well with PLA, but if that is too stiff for you, the more flexible ABS can also be a good choice. The thickness can be adjusted to provide more strength. I kept it as thin as possible so that it could clip into the hose easily. The inner diameter of the hose holders is 35mm. Print Settings Printer: Easy3DMaker - modded Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.125mm Infill: 15% Notes: Nozzle diameter: 0.5mm Post-Printing It is recommended to print with brim, if you are not too confident about the first layer. In this case, the only post-printing task is "remove brim". How I Designed This Made using Blender in a few minutes.
