I've struggled with my vacuum cleaner's cord rewinding on its own, and I'm not alone. Instead of tossing the whole thing and buying a new one, I used a clip to keep the cord from getting tangled. However, that clip has major drawbacks - it often fails after some time. So, I came up with this customized design to hold the cord in place, repurposing the spring from the original clip. This can be adjusted to fit your specific vacuum cleaner's dimensions.
