This is a (mostly) 3D printed vacuum clamp for workholding that's designed to handle imperfect seals in all sections; its sealing surface is divided into cells with limited air flow, preventing complete vacuum loss if some cells aren't sealed. Github: https://github.com/crispy1989/vacuum-clamp-3dprinted ## Additional Components Needed * A vacuum pump * Vacuum tubing * An adapter fitting from vacuum tubing to 1/8 NPT male * A gasket (see below for making this) ## Settings The vacuum clamp is written in OpenSCAD and has multiple configuration options. I highly recommend editing these settings and compiling your own customized STL instead of using the one I built to my specifications. When rendering, OpenSCAD will output important information calculated from the settings, which can be crucial for making the gasket and redrilling holes.
