Vacuum adapters

I had an old, perfectly good portable vacuum cleaner that I didn't want to throw away even though it was missing a hose adapter. With my TAZ 6 3D printer, I can now make my own adapter since the original parts are no longer sold. The white adapters were printed with ABS using HIPS support on a dual extruder. The blue hose was printed with Ninjaflex using my Flexistruder. The cost of the white adapters' filament (ABS + HIPS) was $2.46. Estimated replacement cost for this part is no longer available, but it would be approximately $11.36 ($6.86 for the part and $4.48 for shipping). This translates to an estimated savings of $8.88. Print Settings: Printer Brand: LulzBot Printer: TAZ 5 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Infill: 100% Notes: The outer walls of the tubing in all parts are either 36mm or 32mm, depending on whether it's being inserted into or onto. I used a dual extruder for the adapter itself, which was printed with HIPS support that came right off after printing. Post-Printing Settings
