Vacuum Adapter for Twin Pen Sandblaster
thingiverse
If you just bought a cool little "twin pen" blasting cabinet like this one https://www.ebay.com/itm/372878703807?epid=7047304289&hash=item56d14d7cbf:g:PmkAAOSwLhpg7ShG, you were probably very disappointed to see that the fitting for attaching your vacuum (essential to keep visibility) is both a non-standard size, and located in a tough to reach place inside the back of the machine, pointing at the table. This adapter will bring the fitting out to the rear where you can reach it easily and it is made to the standard shop vac size of 2.25" (I think they call this 2 1/2" though, for some strange reason). There are two versions included, the standard, and one with a "bleed hole" to reduce the vacuum amount in case you have too much suction. If you print the bleed hole version, you'll want to also print the control collar, which slips on and can be used to open or close the bleed hole as much or as little as you want. The collar is unnecessary for the version without the bleed hole.
