Vacuum adapter for Stepcraft HF500

<p>This is a 3d printable replacement for the Stepcraft vacuum adapter for HF500 spindle made in 2019. In my case a Stepcraft D840.</p><p>I was having clogging issues with the original one when cutting MDF so I redesigned it to make the internal tubes wider, and keep the magnetic hold and the rest of parts from the original.</p><p><br>You need 8 cylinder magnets 3mm diameter x 2mm height that need to be inserted with a print pause. It's important that you insert a pause command before the holes of the magnets are covered.</p><p>I started with 4 magnets and kept increasing the number in several iterations until I had a reliable hold.</p><p>[UPDATE] This system still gets clogged with the MDF fibers. It will fit for other types of woods and materials, using at least the parts if you bought the original vacuum adapter for the HF-500.<br>For MDF just look for other adapters with a wider footprint.<br>&nbsp;</p><p>I also added the f3d file from Fusion360 and STEP in case you want to make any modifications.<br>The lateral clamp does not fit perfectly but is close enough to avoid much movement and allow mounting easily.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Spanish</strong></p><p>Este es un recambio imprimible del soporte del adaptador de aspirador para el spindle HF500 de Stepcraft. En mi caso en una Stepcraft D840.</p><p>Tenía problemas de atasco con el adaptador original al cortar DM y rediseñé este para hacer los conductos internos más altos, manteniendo el agarre de los imanes y el resto de piezas el adaptador.</p><p>Necesitas 8 imanes cilíndricos de 3mm de diámetro por 2 mm de alto que tienes que insertar con una pausa. Es importante que insertes el comando de pausa justo antes de que los imanes queden cubiertos.</p><p>Empecé con 4 imanes y fui subiendo el número en varias iteraciones hasta tener un agarre fiable.</p><p>[ACTUALIZACIÓN] Este sistema se sigue atascando con las fibras de DM. Para otras maderas y materiales irá bien y así al menos aprovechas el resto de piezas si compraste el adaptador del HF500. Para DM busca otros adaptadores que cubran más espacio.<br>&nbsp;</p><p>He añadido también el fichero f3d de Fusion 360 y STEP en el caso de que quieras hacer modificaciones. El anclaje lateral no encaja perfectamente pero ajusta lo suficiente para evitar mucho movimiento y que entre fácilmente.</p>
