Vacuum adapter for Bosch GAS 35 (C35 Clip) -> Makita RT0700 (and clones)
thingiverse
I was struggling to connect my Bosch GAS 35 M AFC workshop vacuum to my Katsu trimmer, which is a Makita RT0700 clone, since the power tool adapter had almost the same outside diameter as the vacuum ports on the trimmer. After several unsuccessful attempts using duct tape and bicycle tubing, I decided to use my 3D printer to create a working adapter with a direct connection to the tube. The tool-side of the adapter is slightly conical, matching the shape of the vacuum port on the trimmer, so no sealants are needed - it simply pushes on. The vacuum-side fits tightly and may require a small amount of sanding if your printer tends to produce blobs or uneven surfaces; I recommend using a Dremel with a flapwheel bit. The adapter might fit other vacuums as well if they have the same locking mechanism, such as the Kärcher Tact series, which appears similar. However, this is not guaranteed and feedback is welcome. Edit: When searching for an additional hose for my vacuum, I discovered that Kärcher and possibly others refer to the connector as C35. Therefore, if your hose has a C35 connector, it should fit.
