Modified Vacuum Adapter: A Game-Changer for Saws and Vacuums. Identical to the Straight Adapter, but with a Revolutionary 45º Angle. Straight Adapter: This adapter attaches a flexible vacuum hose (1 1/4") to any tool's discharge port, including the DeWalt Compound Mitre Saw. We haven't tested it on other tools yet. It features a 40.3mm throat on one end, which narrows internally to 37.7mm over 38mm for a secure friction fit on saws. The other end tapers externally from 32.7mm to 34.6mm over 30mm. The vacuum hose slips snugly over this end with another friction fit.
