Vacuum Accessory Adapter

I have two trusty vacuum cleaners: a 20-year-old Kirby and a 2-year-old Eureka. The Kirby clearly has the upper hand when it comes to attachments, and it's still an exceptional vacuum cleaner. However, the Eureka is significantly lighter, making it a breeze to empty. I desperately wanted to utilize the Kirby hose accessories with the newer Eureka, but unfortunately, they weren't compatible due to the size of the connectors. Fortunately, 3D printing came to my rescue! I simply measured the outside diameter of the Eureka hose and the inside diameter of the Kirby accessories, spent 20 minutes designing, and a couple of hours printing, and voilà - a vacuum cleaner accessory adapter was born. The connections are quite stiff at first, but knowing that the plastics will wear down over time and become looser gives me confidence in their durability. You can easily customize this by simply adjusting the two diameters I mentioned to fit your own equipment.
