This device, designed for confined spaces, assists with repetitive pick-and-place tasks. Worn on the right index finger, it features a vacuum line attached to its back. Air enters through both the pickup end and side port, located near the right thumb. Objects are picked up when placed in contact with the pickup end and side port is covered; release occurs upon thumb removal. A gasket at the pickup end enhances conformal contact. The device fits over gloves and requires slight scaling for optimal comfort. Sealing can be improved by painting it with silicone rubber or methylene chloride treatment, ensuring air-tightness. To use, adjust model size, print, cast gasket using a ring-shaped trough in the casting stand's base plate, and allow to cure. Customize mesh around pickup end for optimal performance.
